If you’ve taken a gander at the fuel pumps right now, you know the price of gas is no joke. Seriously. It’s not funny at all. So wouldn’t it be amazing to win free gas for a year!?

Of course, the obvious answer is yes.

But if not free gas for the whole year, you could still be looking at a $200 gas card in your future if you play your cards right.

So How Can You Possibly Get Free Gas for a Year?

As a state-of-the-art cannabis cultivation facility in Burton, Michigan, UBaked knows all about the power of cannabis for easing pain. So now in the spirit of easing pain at the gas pump, UBaked Edibles is donating free gas for a year to one very fortunate person.

Could it be you?

Well, if you head on over to Green Genie medical dispensary in Detroit between now and April 20th, there’s a chance you could be the lucky winner.

How You Can Enter the Drawing

If you’re not already familiar, UBaked opened their doors in December of 2019. With their cutting edge facility, high standards, and superior quality product, they quickly set themselves apart from others in their field. They’ve now grown to supply approximately 75% of the dispensaries throughout Michigan with cannabis flower, gummies, chocolate candy bars, and more.

Green Genie is one such dispensary. And it’s the one you’ll want to visit for your chance to win free gas. Along with the possibility of free gas for a year, UBaked has also donated 12 gas cards worth $200 each.

To enter the drawing, visit Green Genie medical dispensary in Detroit between now and April 20th and purchase any UBaked product to receive an entry ticket for a chance to win. Each product has a different ticket value assigned to it. So one item might be valued at 1 ticket, while another will be worth 2,3,4, or even 5 tickets.

Green Genie is located at 24600 W. McNichols Road and the winner will be selected on April 20th at 4:20pm. (You get it.)

Don’t Miss This Great Opportunity

Who couldn’t benefit from $200 worth of gas – let alone free gas for a year?! Plus, you’ll be supporting two cannabis brands with a serious focus on giving back to the community.

So take advantage of this amazing chance to help the community while also helping yourself. It’s a true win-win.

It looks like both the Greenhouse of Walled Lake, Michigan, and UBaked Edibles in Burton, Michigan, are at it again. And by “it,” we mean MORE good things.

The two companies are joining forces this year for a Veteran’s Day fundraiser. So while Veteran’s Day isn’t until November 11th, you can celebrate veterans with Greenhouse and UBaked starting this Friday with a special offer.

And as if that weren’t enough, Jerry Millen of the Greenhouse of Walled Lake is also offering veterans a unique opportunity. More on that in a little bit…

Celebrate Veterans with Greenhouse and UBaked Fundraiser

And enjoy some chocolate!

Starting this Friday, November 5th, the Greenhouse of Walled Lake and UBaked Edibles are selling 1,000 chocolate bars for only $10.00 per bar. Of course, this is only for as long as supplies last, so you won’t want to hesitate.

Each chocolate bar is donned in patriotic packaging that’ll get you feeling good about your country and especially those who serve it just in time for Veteran’s Day.

Through this promotion, Greenhouse of Walled Lake and Ubaked Edibles are committed to donating at least $10,000 to causes that benefit veterans. Half of the proceeds will go to Veterans Coming Home Charity in Roseville, Michigan. You may have heard of it, as it’s a favorite charity of Big Jim on the WCSX morning show.

The other $5,000 will go to five individual veterans (chosen based on need) in the form of $1,000 each.

As Greenhouse of Walled Lake owner Jerry Millen says, “We can never do enough for our brave men and women who have put their lives at risk so we can keep our freedom.” And it’s for this reason that Millen is also hiring only veterans as drivers for his new home delivery service.

Helping Veterans Stay Viable

Veterans – particularly those who were in combat – can find it challenging to return to everyday life. Along with the possibility of having to deal with depression and PTSD, many experience trouble reconnecting with family and managing survivor’s guilt. This can make it difficult to establish a sense of purpose again.

To help veterans who may be experiencing this lack of purpose, the Greenhouse of Walled Lake is NOW seeking twelve veterans (both male and female) who want to drive for their new delivery program which starts November 9th. Drivers can earn up to $50,000 per year and delivery cars cars and gas are courtesy of Greenhouse of Walled Lake. And absolutely no knowledge of the cannabis industry is necessary.

Applicants with a valid Michigan driver’s license and good driving record can send emails or resumes by clicking here.

Get in the Spirit This November 11th

Celebrate veterans with Greenhouse and Ubaked this year! While you’re helping yourself to chocolate, you’ll also be helping vets who need a little extra this time of year.

So be sure to swing into the Greenhouse of Walled Lake to take advantage of this great offer while supplies last.

There are many ways to tell that autumn is coming. Yeah, it’s getting cooler and a few leaves are starting to change color.

But one of the biggest signs is the return of all things pumpkin and apple.

Inspired by the flavors of fall, the good folks over at UBaked in Burton, Michigan, have developed some amazing seasonal cannabis treats you can enjoy all through the autumn.

What Is UBaked?

UBaked is a state-of-the-art cannabis cultivation and production facility whose quality products can be found in 75% of the provisioning centers throughout Michigan. This top tier facility provides a wide array of cannabis products including flower, concentrates, edibles and so much more.

Pretty impressive for a business that launched a mere two years ago in 2019. Especially given all of the challenges with scaling a cannabis business.

A big reason for their popularity is that consumers across the state and country know that marijuana from UBaked is a cut above the rest. The facility prides itself on meeting the highest standards for safety and purity. Their products deliver on quality and delicious flavors. Plus, they just really love the plant – in every way, shape, and form. All of this results in really amazing cannabis products across the board.

Add to that the new twist on seasonal flavors this year and a solid marketing campaign, and UBaked is establishing itself as a true leader.

What Are Their Latest Seasonal Cannabis Treats?

We say “latest” because the creative team is already busy formulating and implementing their special winter flavors that will hit the shelves soon.

But for now, if you have a hankering for pumpkin spice, skip the latté and try the pumpkin-spiced chocolate bars from UBaked instead. The gluten free delicacy is sure to make your day.

Then again, if apple cider is more your thing, you’ll be thrilled with their spiced apple cider gummies. These gluten free gummies are made with all natural ingredients. There are no added color dyes and they’re completely vegan (meaning there’s no gelatin).

The Spiced Apple Cider Gummies and Pumpkin Spiced Chocolate Bars from UBaked won’t show up at provisioning centers until Friday, September 17th. But once you find them, grab them. Because they’re only available for a limited time.

And keep in mind the benefits of consuming grow house marijuana like that from UBaked. Not only is it safe and pure, It’s properly labeled so you always know what you’re getting. And because of the size of their facility, they’re able to produce more product with less overhead. That means lower prices for consumers.

Finally, their products are consistent. So once you fall in love with that pumpkin spiced chocolate bar or delicious cider gummies, you can rely on each package giving you exactly what you need time and time again.

Enjoy Seasonal Cannabis Treats from Ubaked!

Tis the season… to partake in seasonal cannabis treats. You can find UBaked products by clicking here. So go ahead and indulge! Winter will be here soon enough.

And in the meantime, keep checking back with our blog to stay on top of all the cool things happening in the cannabis world.

The cannabis industry is forever evolving and changing. And the rules, regulations, and laws that govern it are also constantly shifting.

As such, it takes focused attention and serious business acumen to run a successful cannabis business.

Over the years, one of the areas of the industry that has seen the biggest changes is one you may not have ever considered. And that’s packaging.

The Purpose of Packaging

Packaging serves two main purposes.

The first is to protect the product it carries, as well as the consumer who will buy it. That means it must be able to withstand any physical or environmental hazards that might come its way. It must also be sealed in such a way to make it accessible to seniors, but keep it from being pilfered by someone else – such as a child or a pet. This is all pretty straightforward, right?

Where things get a little hazier is in the cannabis marketing side of packaging marijuana products.

For example, while a glass container may cost more to produce, it does project quality in a way that plastic simply can’t. Then again, a glass container isn’t going to give designers the same flexibility to work with graphics as, say, a flexible pouch.

To make things even more complicated, package design in the cannabis industry includes the recognition that it can’t appear too child-friendly. So while wild bright colors and bubbly animation is very eye-catching, it can’t be utilized in this industry without running the risk of getting fined and looking at a whole design overhaul.

Furthermore, to make things even more complicated, the area between what’s too child-friendly and what isn’t has gotten murkier and less defined over the years.

Packaging Challenges for Cannabis Businesses

With all of this in mind, packaging is a serious consideration. And it’s one that cannabis business professionals Amy Beauchamp and Bob Dodge of UBaked Cannabis in Burton, Michigan, have taken seriously.

Over the years, much of the packaging for cannabis products has looked very medicinal. And for good reason. For a long time, the only legal marijuana in many states was the medical variety. The product design coming out of UBaked followed suit.

The legalization of recreational marijuana was a game changer though.

A wealth of products in new formats have appeared on the market, including dried, concentrates, powders, edibles, and beverages. Meanwhile, the continually reliable medical cannabis products are still prominently placed on the shelves.

So UBaked recently finished their packaging redesign to bring some lightness and levity to their product.

In doing so, they faced the challenge that brand owners in the fast-evolving cannabis industry have faced. Like so many others, they had to consider their packaging in a new light and figure out how to place greater emphasis on their brand image in an increasingly crowded marketplace while not running the risk of being too “eye-catching”.

Along with other cannabis businesses across the country, they’ve done just that – designing uniquely powerful, yet clean and playful packaging that can carry them successfully into the marketplace.

It’s all about striking that balance.

Are You Getting the Most Out of Your Marketing Efforts?

Packaging challenges for cannabis businesses are just one of the many marketing obstacles in this industry.
