Low-THC medical marijuana can provide tremendous relief for people suffering severe symptoms from a scope of dire conditions.

The problem is, in states where recreational use is allowed, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to find low-THC products because it’s the flower that’s the most profitable product.

This is part of what’s driving the movement to have medical cannabis in Georgia drugstores.

Medical Cannabis in Georgia Drugstores?

Many of the less-informed residents of the state are concerned that their local CVS or Walgreens will be stocking THC gummies next to their favorite candy bar. That’s not the case though.

First, it will only be local pharmacies involved. In fact, 130 local pharmacies have already agreed to sell medical marijuana. And there are more than 400 independent pharmacies interested in attaining a THC sale license. This would put 90% of Georgians within a 30-minute drive of a pharmacy that stocks low-THC medical marijuana.

Second, customers won’t find products willy-nilly on the shelves and instead will need to go to the pharmacy just as they would for any other medication.

Third, access will be restricted to patients with just sixteen diseases including Alzheimer’s, PTSD, some stages of cancer, Crohn’s, and sickle cell. Even so, it will be a godsend for those patients.

Why Georgia?

Yep. Georgia.

That this would occur in a conservative Deep South state like Georgia might seem surprising. Some states require a pharmacist to be on staff at their dispensaries, but pharmacies don’t sell it. There are at least three states that have a law on the books that would allow pharmacies to sell. At this point, they’re not implementing the law though.

In 2019, the Georgia General Assembly approved the distribution of low-dose THC oil. Creating the regulatory infrastructure to sell it has taken considerable time though.

Under Georgia law, products sold at pharmacies can only be up to 5% THC. This is perfect though because doctors often suggest patients use low-THC medical cannabis to help with pain, nausea, insomnia, and other issues. Plus, the products are ideal for taking on a long-term regular basis.

The Pharmacist Advantage

Pharmacists across the state say that patients have wanted this kind of access for years. Patients come to them with their cards in hopes of getting low-THC medical marijuana. Their only option is often to go to dispensaries in shady areas or even in other states to find it.

There are advantages to getting THC from a pharmacist. They’re able to provide their patients with education, resources, and even counsel to lead them to the right products. And at the end of the day, the reality is that patients often see their pharmacists more than their doctors.

Whatever the case, access to medical cannabis in Georgia drugstores is going to make a big difference for these patients. And it may even be the precursor to a whole new movement.

At the beginning of 2023, Jerry Millen, owner of the Greenhouse in Walled Lake, had a great idea to offer a contest to win the first ever cannabis wedding.

“We’re seeing a generation choose weed over booze,” Millen said. “Even when it comes to traditional celebrations like weddings.”

So he put the word out and by the end of April, over 15,000 people had entered. Now, the lucky winning couple is preparing to celebrate both cannabis and their nuptials on October 5th at 4pm.

And The Winners of the First Ever Cannabis Wedding Are…

Danielle Geralds and Nile Hunt of Waterford, Michigan are the winners of the first ever Cannabis Wedding Giveaway courtesy of Greenhouse of Walled Lake. Danielle met Nile while Nile was in the United States Navy.

The couple will come together to celebrate their love for one another. But they will also celebrate the power of cannabis. While serving in Afghanistan, Nile sustained a severe life-long injury from an IED. Luckily, he has access to cannabis which has gone and continues to go the distance in helping to ease the pain of his injury.

This Is Going to Be Epic

Millen and his crew know the importance of giving back to the community. And though ‘give back’ is the battle cry throughout the whole cannabis industry, the Greenhouse always takes it to the next level.

This cannabis wedding is going to be epic. The couple is inviting more than 50 close friends and family members, and the ceremony will be performed just outside Greenhouse.

The wedding will be fully paid for and produced by Greenhouse of Walled Lake, Choice Labs of Jackson, and Treehouse CBD. There will be a tasteful cannabis motif designed and planned by an experienced, local wedding planner. The fully catered event will offer THC-infused hors d’oeuvres, dinner, and mocktails, prepared by experienced cannabis chefs and bartenders. And there will be top-shelf Bud and Dab bars.

No detail was spared.

Also included is a rehearsal dinner on Wednesday, October 4th, a videographer and photographer, a wedding dress for the bride, bridesmaids’ dresses, tuxedos for the groom and groomsmen, hair and makeup for the wedding party, a limo ride to the ceremony, and wedding night accommodations at the Westin Airport Hotel.

Entertainment will include a violinist and DJ, and the high school marching band will perform Here Comes the Bride. The ceremony itself will be performed by Steve Woodcock, a hospice Minister.

Sharing the Love!

“No dispensary in the United States has ever given away or produced a 100% cannabis-based wedding and we are proud to be the first,” says Millen. “We are also inviting the public to attend this unique event which is costing more than $40,000 to produce.”

The ceremony takes place at Greenhouse of Walled Lake and the reception will be held at Green Oak Food Studios in South Lyon at 6:30pm, following a cocktail hour.

Happy Trails to Geralds and Hunt

As cannabis marketing experts, we know the importance of cannabis businesses giving back to their communities and we see the Greenhouse’s focus on community over the past three years as beyond commendable.

We wish the happy couple the very best!

As cannabis marketing experts, we’re more than a little familiar with the process for planting a cannabis business in Michigan.

It’s considerably more involved than just setting up shop and putting out a plaque.

Yet, we’re always surprised when we meet entrepreneurs who believe starting a cannabis business is simple. So if you’re considering doing so, you’ll need to know the step process to getting going.

Planting a Cannabis Business in Michigan?

If you live in a Michigan community where there’s a dispensary and/or production facility on nearly every corner, it may seem that getting a cannabis company up and running is a piece of cake.

While it’s not brain surgery, there are five distinct steps you need to take to get started. And this covers everything from dispensaries and production facilities, to processors, transporters, and testers.

Register Your Business in Michigan

If you haven’t heard of LARA, you’re going to soon become very familiar with this name. An acronym for Department of Licensing And Regulatory Affairs, these are the folks with whom you first need to register an entity.

You’ll need to complete an application for a marijuana license to establish your business with LARA. From there, you’ll begin the application process for your specific business (i.e. dispensary, processor, etc,). In addition, you will also need a state license, city land use approval, and any necessary building permits.

Finally, it’s crucial that you renew your registration every year BEFORE the existing registration expires.

Attain Local Cannabis Licenses and Permits

There are a ton of hoops to jump through on the state level. Yet, they’re not enough on their own. You’ll also need to get municipal approval. This is a separate application process. Because different municipalities have different requirements, you should strongly consider hiring a professional to assist you with this step.

Score Your Cannabis State License

While steps one and two don’t necessarily need to be done in that order, they are both necessary before you attempt step three.

For any cannabis business to operate in Michigan, you must have a state license. To get your cannabis state license, some municipalities require proof of your state application before they’ll even take a look at your local application.

What Will Your Tax Obligation Be?

In case you haven’t heard, cannabis business in Michigan (and elsewhere) have to pay an excise tax. You will need to disclose this tax when applying for your IRS Employer Identification Number (EIN).

What’s more, depending on the specific cannabis business you’re operating, taxes will be levied differently. So do your research and seek the help of a qualified accountant to determine what your liability will be.

Prepare to Pay Fees EVERY YEAR

Running a cannabis business means dealing with ongoing business registration requirements. Licensing, registration, and compliance

The list of licensing, registration, and compliance responsibilities never end for cannabis business owners. Be prepared to pay fees for yearly renewals and to be aware of exactly when to file the paperwork for said fees. While you’ll receive reminders from the state and municipality, enlisting the services of a professional to assist with this is highly recommended.

You’ve Got This!

The above five steps for planting a cannabis business in Michigan are just a collective launching point.

Once you establish your business, you’ll also need to have the best cannabis marketing and public relations on your side. Especially given the highly saturated nature of the market in Michigan.

So contact us today to find out how we can help. We’ve been in the business since the beginning and we know exactly how to get you noticed.

The Greenhouse of Walled Lake was Oakland County’s first fully licensed medical and recreational marijuana dispensary. That’s impressive enough on its own.

They’re also experts in ensuring that customers and patients receive the utmost guidance when it comes to selecting the right products.

That’s why thousands of people come through their doors in any given week. But these days, some of those folks have taken to using counterfeit cash for cannabis.

Bills Coming From Skilled Counterfeiters

For the last several months, the Greenhouse has been flooded with counterfeit $20 bills. At least half of these bills pass the brown pen test where they’re resistant to the brown ink that exposes them as counterfeit.

But it’s not just $20 bills.

“They’re making $5, $20, $100 bills,” Greenhouse owner Jerry Millen says. And in some cases, they’re realistic enough to make it past the cash machines which have settings to find fakes.

And it’s become such a problem that Millen has taken to posting notes on the counters and walls reminding employees to be especially vigilant.

What’s the Deal with Counterfeit Cash for Cannabis?

There’s no doubt that the Greenhouse is a destination for these counterfeit bills. “Absolutely, we’re being targeted,” says Millen.

But it’s becoming a more common problem for dispensaries all across the problem. Because while recreational pot is legal in Michigan, it’s still federally illegal. That means that cannabis businesses are prohibited from using banks and are cash-only enterprises.

It was only a matter of time before counterfeiters figured out how they could take advantage of this lucrative industry. And it IS lucrative. Yet even for a business that generates millions of dollars, these losses add up.

Will Congress Ever Pass Legislation?

Ultimately, until cannabis is removed from the Schedule 1 list of drugs and becomes legal on the federal level, banks will not be permitted to work with cannabis businesses.

There has been some progress. The SAFE Banking Act was introduced to Congress back in April. If it passes it would protect federal banks from penalties or punishment when dealing with legal dispensaries. For now, it has stalled out.

For a short while, debit cards were a loophole for large credit unions. But Mastercard shut that down last month in regards to buying marijuana. So yeah, it’s a slow journey.

Time will tell.

Are You a Cannabis Business Owner?

If you run a weed business, you can now add looking out for counterfeit cash for cannabis to your long list of to-dos.

One thing you don’t need to have on that list is struggling with cannabis public relations.

Contact us today to speak with highly experienced cannabis marketing and public relations experts. And get back to running your business.

Are you considering launching your own weed venture? Wondering where you should set up your cannabis business?

Unfortunately, you can’t just drop down into any spot that speaks to you. There are all sorts of restrictions in place in terms of where you’re allowed to put your business – even within municipalities that have opted in.

And once you extricate yourself from all of the red (or green) tape of landing a geographical spot, there are still MANY other considerations. We’ll break it all down here.

How to Set Up Your Cannabis Business

There are three major questions you’ll need to consider (and answer correctly) when choosing a place for your cannabis business.

Where I Am Allowed to Set Up Shop?

Just because your state has legalized marijuana, that doesn’t mean the city/town/village/hamlet you’re considering is cool with you opening a cannabis business there. And even in the municipalities where they’ve given the thumbs up to cannabis operations, some are more restrictive than others. For example, they may be comfy with a production facility or other B2B business, but won’t embrace a dispensary.

Once you do find a community that’s open to the possibility of your business, your work has just begun. You’ll need to ensure city managers and council members, as well as the folks who make up the zoning authority, they you’re going to be a good thing for their community.

Among the logistical things they’ll want to know are whether you have a security plan in place to thwart thieves, what sort of protection will be utilized to protect against underaged access, and is there any potential of traffic congestion.

But they’ll also want to know if you’re a member of the proposed community, how your profits will benefit them, and will you be hiring candidates who live in that community.

Which brings us to our next question.

Who Makes Up the Community Where You Want to Settle?

You’ll want to have a full-on understanding of the demographics where you plan to establish your business. That means attaining general demographic statistics that include intel on racial, gender, and generational make-up.

In addition, get yourself familiar with the community’s economic profile. Being familiar with stats on income, employment, education, and other socioeconomic factors is key.

It should come as no big surprise that many of the more successful cannabis business ventures are established in municipalities that have been disproportionately impacted by the ‘war’ on drugs. For these businesses, it’s all about giving back to the community.

And it works. By opening a community-oriented business in a blighted area, you have the opportunity to break the cycle of economic disinvestment, high rates of imprisonment, and generational trauma these communities have experienced. Furthermore, being involved in community-based organizations, social engagement programs, and charitable contributions is also investing in your business.

It’s a win-win.

Will It Be Sustainable?

This is one of the trickier questions. B2B businesses typically set up in low-cost areas without much population. But for dispensaries, they need to be where the action is. With so many regulations, finding a compliant location can mean extra expenses you weren’t anticipating.

Plus, depending on the state where you live, you may be required to secure real estate that satisfies all of the legal requirements before you can even get a state license or permit to operate. This is a high-risk situation because if you’re not granted a license, you’re suddenly stuck with real estate. Some states are shifting away from the model. If yours hasn’t, then you’ll want to strongly consider whether putting a canna-biz there is worth the risk.

You’ve Got This… and We’ve Got You

If your intentions to set up a cannabis business are honorable and you’re working from an altruistic viewpoint, you could have a thriving business that helps revive a struggling community.

For many years, folks seeking relief from the ravages of cancer and its respective treatments have relied on Rick Simpson Oil to make life more bearable.

Once medical marijuana became legal, there was a surge in the number of patients purchasing this ‘magical’ elixir. The recreational market hasn’t seen quite the same explosion.

Even so, because it’s known in increasingly wider circles for its high THC content, there are unscrupulous souls on the internet hoping to reel in unsuspecting folks through Rick Simpson oil scams.

The (VERY) Skinny on Rick Simpson Oil

Rick Simpson Oil (RSO) is a thick, black, and viscous oil that is the result of a long and tedious extraction process. Because the extraction process is careful to preserve important terpenes, flavonoids, chlorophyll, carotenoids and other cannabis compounds of the plant, it’s like liquid gold (oil reference there) in terms of providing relief for cancer patients.

RSO is typically taken either orally, or applied topically (which is how Rick Simpson used it to eradicate carcinoma cells on his skin). There are, however, an increasing number of different forms such as capsules, suppositories, tinctures, and even edibles.

And it isn’t effective for just cancer. It’s often used to treat chronic pain from any number of ailments. It’s also been helpful in treating Multiple Sclerosis, high blood pressure, depression, HIV/AIDS, anxiety, arthritis, insomnia, seizures, asthma, herpes and even asthma.

The Best Place to Buy Rick Simpson Oil

If you live in a state where marijuana is fully legal, you can inquire at your local dispensary about this amazing product.

However, if you don’t have that particular luxury, you might have a hard time scoring RSO. Most dispensaries aren’t permitted to ship cannabis and can only sell to local customers with a valid state ID card. That means you’ll have to go to the internet.

Because RSO is such a specialized product, you want to ensure that whatever you’re buying has gone through the rigorous extraction process mentioned above. That’s why it’s crucial you buy from only a licensed and verified source. Otherwise, you may end up with an interior product full o impurities, fillers, and even pesticides.

Your ultimate destination to purchase RSO should be RickSimpsonOil.com which has been in operation since 2009. Plus, they are currently the only licensed retailer able to ship both domestically and internationally.

Beware of Rick Simpson Oil Scams

RSO has had a particularly difficult journey getting the publicity is so fiercely deserves. At one time, states such as Texas and Florida had legalized medical marijuana, but gave high-THC products like RSO the ‘illegal’ stamp. Some of those laws are evolving and allowing the use of RSO for very specific conditions.

Still, because RSO is finally being recognized for offering relief to cancer patients, there has been a rise in Rick Simpson Oil scams. Scammers create bogus profiles on social media or create pages with pirated content from REAL websites. They know they can lasso older folks who aren’t so tech savvy. The most obvious sign that these are scams is when they only accept payment options are from unsecured means such as Venmo, Zelle, or cryptocurrency. Some even offer only wire transfers or money orders.

As we said above, your best bet is to stick with RickSimpsonOil.com. Otherwise, you could be saying goodbye to your money and never see any RSO at your doorstep.

Do you live in a state where marijuana is legal but in a town that has opted out of having dispensaries?

If that’s your situation and you’re a weed connoisseur, then you are more than likely aware of (and perhaps patronizing) the illegal market. In fact, illicit markets thrive in opt-out towns.

And it’s becoming a serious problem.

The Irony of Opt-Out Towns

Any elected official who voted against having marijuana businesses in their jurisdiction thinking they were putting the kibosh on weed in their town is poorly misled.

In letting “other communities” deal with the imagined problems that come with peddling this federally illegal substance, they didn’t stop to consider the impact it would have on the already existing black market. Many of them believed it no longer existed.

This thinking has backfired on them.

As it turns out, the data shows states with more legal, licensed, and regulated stores are far more successful in battling the illegal marijuana market. Meanwhile, states with fewer stores have wonderfully healthy illicit marijuana markets. This is the case even in states that overwhelmingly supported the idea of legalizing it.

While officials who opt out believe this is a vote against marijuana—it’s actually a vote FOR black market dealers.

Welcome to a New Kind of Prohibition

Legalization is great for the economy of the state, the above-mentioned elected officials proudly state, while finishing with “just not in my neighborhood” on the same breath.

But that line of thinking has systematically (and unwittingly) created an economic protection zone for illicit sellers. And it’s not just happening in more red states like Missouri or Virginia.

In California, 62% of municipalities have opted out. As a result, the black market still feeds 55% of the demand or cannabis. In New Jersey, there is only one store for every 358,000 residents. That means the illicit market commands more than 80% of the market. Even in New York, half of all municipalities had already opted out before recreational sales began.

The Clear Picture

Leaders in opt-out towns seem to work with some imaginary form of object permanence. They feel that if they can’t see it, it doesn’t exist. But not permitting stores in a municipality doesn’t make cannabis go away. It’s already circulating in every community in the United States.

With a state-licensed dispensary, under-aged buyers can’t purchase marijuana. Illicit sellers don’t care how old the buyer is. What’s more, black market marijuana hasn’t been tested and could put the consumer at risk. Given the option to purchase safe product from a store over shady weed from a dealer, adults generally shift to dispensaries.

Voting to opt out is also voting to turn away local jobs and tax revenue that could do wonders for the community. And all in the name of fighting this losing war on drugs. Perhaps in the next few years, they’ll wake up.

If you’re hungry to open a cannabis business but have the misfortune of living in an opt-out town, you don’t have to let that stop you.

Running a cannabis company is fraught with challenges. Especially these days.

Fertilizer, building materials, and packaging are among the many items that have experienced price increases. Add to that inflation, and the industry’s bottom line is taking a hit. Yet, companies are hesitant to raise prices.

With so much to consider, you might be wondering about the most important cannabis company priorities for 2023. We’ll take a look.

Cannabis Company Priorities for 2023

The above mentioned challenges (as well as several others) aren’t expected to ease anytime soon.

It’s not all doom and gloom though. The industry continues to grow at a fast pace and that means there are always opportunities for product development.

In addition, there is now access to insurance and benefits that didn’t exist before. So given all of that, where should cannabis companies put their focus?

Invest In Stellar Staff

While job growth in the industry climbed 33% between 2021 and 2022, employers are still experiencing high turnover. Plus, there’s a lack of skilled labor. That means business owners are allotting more time and money on attracting good employees and retaining them.

The good news is, benefits programs are now available to cannabis business owners for their employees. When employers are able to personalize benefits to each of their employees’ needs, it builds trust and positivity which just happen to lend beautifully to employee retention. Imagine that.

If you’re a cannabis business owner, you could start adding health insurance and offering 401(k) plans to your employees. They’re much more likely to enjoy their work and stick around.

Be Aware of New Risks

By now, most cannabis business owners know about the risks involved in this business. As such, they have risk management strategies in place. Especially grow houses.

But some of the latest risks have to do with the breakneck speed at which new products are entering the market. That means additional research and development must be performed to reduce the risk of problems during extraction, packaging, storage, and distribution.

Then there’s the possible issue of refrigeration and bottling. The edibles and beverages market is skyrocketing and forcing companies to create new formulas and products – which is great! But it’s also results instates issuing dozens of recalls because of salmonella, mold, and mislabeling. You definitely don’t want to hear from attorneys who have filed suits on behalf of consumers calling you out for faulty products.

So stay on track with risk management plans and advisors to help ensure company’s success in 2023.

Take Advantage of Strong Public Relations

According to data analytics from Prohibition Partners, global sales of CBD, medical and adult-use cannabis topped $37.4 billion in 2021and is expected hit $102 billion by 2026.

Even so, legislative issues and the continued social stigma regarding cannabis and its reputation persist. Of course, misinformation and contradictions still run amok.

Today, a strong cannabis PR strategy not only bolsters brand reputation, but it can serve to drive media coverage so companies can reach customers and shorten sale cycles. It’s important to work with a PR firm who’s well-versed in the issues, nuances, regulations, culture, and language that surrounds the industry. They know how to create credible stories to reach your target audiences.

Still On the Hunt for Effective Cannabis PR?

If getting more exposure is one of your cannabis company priorities for 2023, then contact us today.

As well established cannabis PR and marketing specialists, we know how to put you at the center of relevant conversations in an authentic way.

So whether you’re new to the industry, a thriving cannabis brand, or anything in between, we can effectively tell (and sell) your story.

There’s not denying that cannabis is a fast-growing industry. Like laser fast. With more than $221million in profits in December of 2022 alone, it seems like it’s thriving.

Seems is the operative word.

After defaulting on a $127 million loan, one of the state’s largest cannabis producers recently entered into receivership. And it’s the fifth one to do so. So are Michigan cannabis businesses in trouble?

Receiverships Are Not Surprising

All industries experience ebbs and flows. Emerging industries face the additional challenge of a huge influx of businesses all competing for the same marketshare.

You’ve heard the saying, it takes money to make money. This is no less true in the cannabis industry. For those looking to start a cannabis business, it takes a considerable amount of money to make just the first couple of dollars.

Add in the fact that there was a nearly 90% price drop in wholesale cannabis prices over the last 18-24 months and it’s the recipe for considerable financial strife.

As such, many companies found themselves borrowing sizable amounts of money from private lenders in other states are (willing and) able to charge higher rates. So given all of these challenges it was only natural that some of these businesses would falter.

So Then Are Michigan Cannabis Businesses In Trouble? Really?

There’s a smorgasbord of challenges that cannabis entrepreneurs face that other industries don’t.

First of all, insurance is a lot more expensive.

Then there’s the ongoing issue with banking. Because cannabis is STILL federally prohibited, cannabis companies can’t seek loans or take advantage of traditional banking. They can’t take credit cards. And the bankruptcy protections provided to traditional businesses are not available to them.

Even so, most experts don’t believe that the Michigan cannabis industry is facing a serious threat. The receiverships are a natural byproduct of companies with poor management, weak marketing strategies, or any number of other foibles merely getting “weeded” out.

In reality, many cannabis businesses in the state continue to thrive and expand – despite recent receiverships. And though every company won’t and simply cannot survive, most believe the industry will continue to grow larger.

Slow and Steady Wins the Race

Some of the more successful businesses are those run by industry folks versus money folks. Their companies were self-funded and slow to scale. And they sought out experts in cannabis marketing who knew in the legal ins and outs of managing their advertising and public relations.

Meanwhile, the big box cannabis companies swooped into the market early and ignored the shortcomings they’re dealing with now. So it’s no big surprise that some of the largest companies are entering into receiverships.

At the end of day, the vast majority of cannabis professionals are hopeful and positive about the future of weed. The hope is that one day it will be federally legal, the stigma will be greatly reduced, the extra taxes will be slashed, and the industry will thrive.

Looking For Stellar Cannabis Marketing Services?

The appearance that there are some Michigan cannabis businesses in trouble is not completely false. But that doesn’t mean there’s not future for the industry.

Cannabis has certainly captivated the population. And there’s still room for more. The key is in standing out from all the rest.

So if you’re ready to take your cannabis marketing to the next level, contact us. We’ve been experts in this arena for nearly a decade. We know what works and, more importantly, what doesn’t.

The Greenhouse of Walled Lake is Oakland County’s first fully licensed medical and recreational marijuana dispensary. That’s impressive enough on its own.

Add to that they’re also experts in ensuring that customers and patients receive the utmost guidance when it comes to selecting the right products, and they just got a little more badass.

But what makes the Greenhouse really stand out is the premium that owner Jerry Millen places on giving back to the community. And this summer, they’ll be celebrating love at the Greenhouse.

A Truly Local Dispensary

From raising money for veterans to restoring local landmarks; donating gifts to families to provide a brighter holiday to encouraging vaccination and making national headlines with their “Pot for Shots” program, the Greenhouse is a pivotal part of the community.

They’ve never strived to go corporate but kept their focus on keeping it local to Walled Lake and the immediately surrounding communities. Now they’re looking to celebrate one lucky couple this summer at the dispensary.

Celebrating Love at the Greenhouse

One of the biggest hurdles for couples in achieving the wedding of their dreams is the expense. Weddings don’t come cheap. So just in time for Valentine’s Day, Jerry Millen is giving away a fully-planned wedding valued at $30,000.

“We’re seeing a generation choose weed over booze, even when it comes to traditional celebrations like weddings,” says Millen. “Move over open bar, and hello bud bar.”

And he’s providing the venue too. The Greenhouse grounds will be completely transformed into a wedding wonderland and a fortunate bride and groom will be able to invite up to 50 guests for their special day this summer. Craft mocktails infused with THC tinctures will accompany a spread of food and desserts similarly infused with cannabis products, courtesy of Choice Labs in Jackson. Post ceremony fun will include the throwing of weed leaves rather than rice, along with music and dancing.

Want the Ultimate Weed Wedding This Summer?

If you’re interested in this wedding giveaway, you and your partner need to make a CREATIVE video (no longer than 60 seconds) that demonstrates why you deserve this first-ever prize package. The video should be sent to wedding@greenhousemi.com beginning Valentine’s Day (which is February 14th, in case you forgot). Entries will be accepted through Friday, March 1st though.

The only restriction is that both members of the couple must be old enough to legally receive a marriage license to be eligible. There is no purchase necessary.

Stay Current on the Latest Cannabis Happenings

Celebrating love at the Greenhouse makes perfect sense. And we’re always in awe of the Greenhouse’s continued commitment to the community through give-aways like this. That’s why we report it here.

As cannabis marketing experts who have also been in the business for a long time, we are always in the know on of all the latest happenings in the cannabis industry.

So if you want to boost your marketing strategy – including coverage on our blog – contact us today. We’ll put the spotlight on you.
