				<p>Grow Cannabis Marketing was recently connected to a state of the art grow house and its proprietor thanks to our client, the Cannabis Legal Group. Barton Morris and his team have been advising the owner and operator of this grow house on the legality of operating as a grower prior to the 2018 laws being set in stone. Up to this point, the grower and his team have been providing medical cannabis to patients through the patient-caregiver model, insuring that they stay within the means of the law. Barton Morris kindly connected <a href="http://www.grow-cannabismarketing.com/about/">Grow Cannabis Marketing</a> to this grower as he saw an opportunity for us to help their business grow. Upon meeting with the grower and their staff of friendly people, Mort and Mark Meisner started to brainstorm some ideas on how a story could be produced benefiting both the Cannabis Legal Group and the grow house, whose owner has elected to keep their name under the radar until they are ready for a full-scale roll out of their products and services.</p>
<p>After meeting with the Cannabis Legal Group, a high level of confidence had been instilled in Grow Cannabis Marketing that the grower has been doing things the right way. Mort Meisner immediately saw an opportunity for a story here that would provide information on how the grow facility has been able to operate within the law thanks to the legal counsel provided by the Cannabis Legal Group. Their connection to the grow house demonstrates the breadth of their practice and their strong ties within the medical marijuana industry. There is nobody better connected in Michigan’s Marijuana scene than Barton Morris and his team at the Cannabis Legal Group. Moving forward, Grow Cannabis Marketing will be working with the grower on a proper roll-out strategy for their <a href="http://www.grow-cannabismarketing.com/services/">branding and marketing</a> efforts.</p>
<p><strong>Results: </strong>After learning of the Cannabis Legal Groups’ connection to the grow house, Mort got to work and started creating and pitching story ideas to the local media. The story was pitched as an opportunity for the media to get footage from inside of a grow house for the first time. Needless to say, various outlets in Southeast Michigan jumped at this opportunity. The story was picked up by WXYZ Detroit channel 7, the local ABC News affiliate. Within the final cut, footage was shown from inside the grow house and an employee of the operation was interviewed, as well as Cannabis Legal Group attorney, Craig Aronoff. Craig spoke on the legality of the operation and made sure to note that these growers were doing everything they can to stay within the confines of the law. Channel 7’s own Andrea Isom brought the story to life in a great way and positively showcased what both the Cannabis Legal Group and the grow house are up to as the new laws are getting ready to be put in place.</p>
<p>Thanks to Grow Cannabis Marketing, this story ran twice on primetime television garnering a circulation of more than <strong>250,000</strong> Metro-Detroit residents.</p>

				<p>For some years now, Mort Meisner and <a href="http://www.grow-cannabismarketing.com/about/">Grow Cannabis Marketing</a> has been working with a wonderful little girl named of Bella Chinonis and her family. Bella suffers from a severe disorder that leaves her absent a very important chromosome. This condition causes her to have dozens of seizures each week leaving her with a very poor quality of life. To cope with this disorder and the frequent seizures, Bella’s family initially turned to traditional medicine where she was prescribed strong doses of Phenobarbital to help mitigate the seizures and the pain. While the Phenobarbital reduced the number of seizures Bella had, it also left her motionless; reducing her ability to function and interact with those she loved. Her family described her behavior and mannerisms on the Phenobarbital as zombie like. She was a shell of who they knew she could be.</p>
<p>After years of living with the debilitating side effects of Phenobarbital, Bella’s family made the decision to try Cannabis. When her Doctors at the University of Michigan Health System caught wind of their choice to use medical marijuana, they immediately discharged her as a patient. Simultaneously, with the use of Cannabis Bella and her family experienced a dramatic decrease in the number of seizures she suffered. Bella began to emerge as her normal self again, living a more active life, as every little girl has the right to. But she was still in need of medical care.</p>
<p>The National Patient’s Rights Association and the Chinonis family came to Mort Meisner for help. “I could not believe my ears when I heard the that Bella had been dismissed as a patient by the University of Michigan Health System for her use of medical marijuana,” said Meisner, “We will not stand for this.”</p>
<p><strong>Results:</strong> Grow Cannabis Marketing immediately took action, working to establish Bella as the proverbial poster child for the benefits of medical marijuana. Literally, within minutes Meisner reached his media contacts at NBC News in Detroit. The same day, producers from NBC’s WDIV TV called Bella’s family for an interview and statement. The story aired that very evening on the primetime nightly news with viewership of 350,000. As a result the same neurologist from the University of Michigan Health System who had fired Bella and her family earlier in the week invited Bella back with open arms as a patient. The quick turnaround for Bella and her family underscores the power of the media and the impact Grow Cannabis Marketing can have. We make a difference for our clients.</p>
<p>To this day, Bella continues to use medical Cannabis to help lower her weekly seizure count. While Bella still struggles with her chromosomal disorder, she is able to live a more manageable and fruitful life thanks to medical marijuana.</p>

				<p>Jerry Millen and Mort Meisner of <a href="http://www.grow-cannabismarketing.com/about/">Grow Cannabis Marketing</a> have known each other for more than 20 years. In fact, Mort helped Jerry begin his career as an on-air television talent in the late1990’s assisting Jerry as he quickly became a star in the fast-paced industry. Fast-forward 20 years and you find Jerry and Mort still working together, but this time in the brand-new Cannabis industry where Jerry is poised to reach great success.</p>
<p>Jerry began planning the opening of the Greenhouse, a marijuana dispensary opening soon in Walled Lake, Michigan. From the beginning Jerry’s vision was to create a dispensary with a different attitude from all the rest, “I want this to be a place where you can bring your grandmother”, said Millen. To get his message out and differentiate his dispensary from the mainstream, he engaged the help of Grow Cannabis Marketing.</p>
<p><strong>Results:</strong> We began working with Millen in March of 2017. Our initial focus was to help the Greenhouse break the stigma surrounding what people traditionally think of marijuana dispensaries. Our ultimate goal is to help make Jerry’s facility the preeminent suburban marijuana dispensary. Jerry knew he wanted to wait until pending Cannabis legislation passed in 2018 before officially opening his doors, however, we advised him not to waste any time in the promotion of his new business. This summer Grow Cannabis Marketing began a slow roll out of newspaper stories in various local print and digital media outlets. Our ability to place these stories even before the dispensary opened demonstrates the strength of our unparalleled media connections. In addition, Mark and Mort Meisner helped Jerry brainstorm other ideas to further build his business before opening his doors. This fall, with the help of Grow Cannabis Marketing, Jerry will be conducting educational courses and seminars on all things Cannabis. At each of these seminars; certification doctors, Cannabis lawyers, police officers, growers and processors will be present to help educate those who are interested in getting involved in the industry, or just interested in becoming a medical marijuana patient themselves.</p>
<p>Grow Cannabis Marketing continues to work with Jerry to bolster his public image through participation and contributions in the charitable domain. The doors of the Greenhouse have not even formally opened, yet Grow Cannabis Marketing has made great strides to establish Jerry Millen as an upstanding community business owner and citizen. Grow Cannabis Marketing is incredibly excited to see the heights they can help Jerry Millen and the Greenhouse reach in the coming months and years.</p>
